This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL is finished in Dark Green over Green MB-Tex and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car was equipped with the California Coupe option, which added a rear bench seat in place of the soft top as well as a removable hardtop. Additional equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with painted covers, a Becker AM/FM stereo, and a heater.
The W113 SL was designed by Friedrich Geiger, Béla Barényi, and Paul Bracq and was introduced to the public at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show. This example came finished from the factory in Dark Green (268) and features a white removable hardtop, a driver-side mirror, and European-specification headlights.
The 14″ steel wheels feature covers with painted centers. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in green MB-Tex that extends to the door panels. Interior appointments include a Becker AM/FM stereo, three-point front seatbelts, an analog clock, a floor-mounted gear shifter, and a heater.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 220-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 3,400 (~2k miles), and total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six was factory equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was rated at 170 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque when new.
